10 jaar Endura — bouw mee aan de toekomst Exhibition concept & design · Stadsmuseum Harderwijk

Ten years of Endura, ten personal stories, and a museum hall full of separate ideas waiting to become something whole. That was our brief for the anniversary exhibition of energy cooperative Endura at Stadsmuseum Harderwijk: bring everything together into one strong, sustainable concept.

We started with a clear choice — people, not technology. Ten members and local figures share how a city builds towards a sustainable future together, and we wanted visitors to feel that the moment they stepped inside. So we let the material carry the message: the presentation tables were made from re-board, putting Endura's sustainable heart into the room itself rather than only into the texts.

On the walls, the ten stories sat alongside their photographs, giving every face its own account. Plinths with QR codes guided visitors through Endura's projects across past, present and future. And because building towards that future deserved to be taken literally, a LEGO table invited people to build along — with the bricks staying exactly where they belonged.

The real pleasure was in the bringing-together: turning a range of ideas into a single concept where content, material and experience reinforce one another. On show from 2 April to 10 May in the Smeepoortzaal at Stadsmuseum Harderwijk.
